1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information RIG360 ("the app") collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. The app is a professional tool for crane, forklift, and other lifting/fleet equipment operators to run digital pre-start safety checklists, lift plans, and fault reports.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: your email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text), and your full name.

Company information: your company name, a join code used by your team to link their accounts to your company, and the email address(es) reports are sent to.

Equipment information: names, locations, makes/models, and inspection/certificate expiry dates for the equipment your company registers in the app.

Checklist, lift plan, and fault report data: the operator's name, timestamps, pass/fail results for each inspection item, written fault descriptions, and — optionally — a photo attached to a failed item or fault report, and a signature captured on-screen at the end of each submission. Photos and signatures are stored as part of the submission record and embedded in the PDF reports the app generates.

Locally cached data: to speed up repeat use, the app stores a small list of recently-used names on your device only (not sent to any server beyond what you've already submitted). This can be cleared by clearing the app's local data.

What we do not collect: the app does not track your location, does not use advertising or analytics tracking software, does not access your camera roll or camera except when you explicitly choose to attach a photo, and does not use Face ID/Touch ID or any other biometric data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to: operate your account and company; generate and email PDF safety reports to your nominated recipients; display your equipment and inspection history within the app; and manage your company's subscription and billing, which is handled on our web dashboard rather than in the app.

4. Who We Share Information With

We use a small number of third-party service providers to run the app, each only for the specific purpose below:

• Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) — hosts all account, company, equipment, and report data described above.
• Resend (email delivery) — sends the PDF report emails and urgent fault alerts to your nominated recipients; report content and attachments pass through Resend to be delivered.
• Stripe (payments) — processes your company's subscription payment and stores the payment method, if your company subscribes on our web dashboard. We never see or store your full card details; Stripe handles those directly. The app itself contains no payments of any kind.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with any other third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure with access controls that restrict every user to their own company's data. Report PDFs are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account and company remain active. If a piece of equipment is deleted from the app, its full history — including all associated checklists, lift plans, fault reports, and PDFs — is permanently deleted at the same time and cannot be recovered (previously emailed copies of reports are not affected by this, since they already left our systems). You can delete your account yourself at any time, without asking us: open the app’s Settings screen, tap Delete Account and confirm. The account is removed from our live systems immediately and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days. Checks, lift plans and fault reports you have already submitted stay with your company as its safety records. If you can no longer sign in, contact us using the details below and we will action the deletion for you within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You can review and update your name and your company's report-recipient emails at any time in the app's Settings screen. You can delete your account yourself from that same Settings screen — see section 6. To request a copy of your data, contact us using the details below.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is a professional tool intended for use by adults in a workplace setting and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.

RIG360 is a digital tool for recording pre-start checks, lift plans, and fault reports as entered by the person using it. It does not perform any physical inspection, does not verify the condition of any equipment, and does not replace the professional judgement, training, competency, or certification required to safely operate lifting or fleet equipment.

You (and your employer or company) remain solely responsible for:
• Ensuring equipment is safe to operate before use, regardless of what this app records.
• Complying with all applicable health and safety laws, regulations, and manufacturer instructions.
• Having appropriately trained and certified personnel carry out inspections and operate equipment.

Reports, checklists, and lift plans generated by this app reflect only what was entered by the user at the time of submission. They are not independently verified or audited by the app or its developer, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for a qualified person's own assessment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of this app disclaims all liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from its use, or from reliance on any report it generates.
